Shipping Rates/Returns

 

Shipping and Delivery

We charge a simple flat rate of £3.50(the bulk of this rate is what Royal mail charges) per order for UK and £9.50 (the bulk of this rate is what Royal mail charges) for international, regardless of how many items you choose. For International deliveries it cost more then £9.50 however we just take minimum amount. (Not taking any international orders till September the 1st! ) 

We always choose recorded signed (requires a signature on delivery) for and an international signed for service. We aim to dispatch all orders (Except bespoke designs, see Custom order and Delivery) within 2 to 4 days of payment being processed excluding weekends and holidays. Once dispatched, all orders should reach you within 3 to 5 working days (Monday to Friday) with in UK, but please allow up to 21 days for reasons such as delays in the courier service.

In case of international orders , orders do reach their destination countries within a week, after that the timing of delivery is effected by custom offices of each country i.e. How long they take to pass the package, in some cases it took only one week while at other places it took 2 to 3 weeks. Invoice

As a part of our better environment policy, we do not ship orders with a printed invoice, rather your email confirmation serves as your proof of purchase. The email confirmation will contain all the details in relation to your order. Of course, you are welcome to print off the email confirmation and keep it for your records.

Custom order and Delivery

For bespoke and personalised item(s) made to order, please allow up to 3 weeks for an order(s) being made and delivery, but please contact us if you require the item(s) sooner. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you when the order has been posted.

Furthermore if you need the item(s) to be sent to another address please leave information in the PayPal box that asks for your address – state which address is the delivery address, and which one – the invoice should be sent to. Alternatively contact us and give all the details and we will be happy to do this for you. If the item is for a present please also include this information, so we can make sure the packaging is done appropriately.

Guarantee and Refund/Exchange

If you are unhappy with any item(s) we do offer a 14-day refund guarantee excluding bespoke and personalized orders. Please contact us initially to let us know the reason you wish to return the item(s). We will refund you on the original price of the item(s), but not including the shipping costs. Return shipping will also not be reimbursed. The item(s) needs to be returned in perfect unworn, undamaged condition to be eligible for refund.We will inspect the item(s) on return to assure they are unused prior to issuing any refund. We reserve the right to refuse any refund.

Our software should prevent the ordering of item(s) that are out of stock. If, however, you do order an item that we do not have in stock we will contact you by e-mail to let you know. If you prefer not to wait until the item becomes available again you can let us know via email and we will cancel the order and refund your payment.

Sofia’s Collection is committed to providing you with the highest quality goods and services. We check our jewellery items scrupulously before we send them out; however in the unlikely event that an item is faulty.  In such cases, we offer a refund/exchange including shipping cost provided we are notified of the defective items within 3 days of receipt and the item(s) are returned within 14 days.

Similarly if there is a discrepancy in the shipment of your order on our part, in such cases, we offer a full refund including shipping cost provided we are notified within 3 days of receipt and the item(s) are returned within 14 days.

In the event that Sofia’s Collection agrees to make a refund it will be made using the same method as the original payment, and within 14 days of receipt of the returned item(s) in the same condition as they were when delivered to you.

Until the item(s) is/are received by us, liability for the item(s) returned lies with the customer. For your own protection please send the item(s) via recorded or special delivery, Sofia’s Collection cannot be held responsible for any item(s) being lost or damaged by the postal service. We can only refund item(s) that are returned in the condition they were sent, and not for any lost or stolen item(s). And please keep receipt of postage for proof. No refund will be authorised unless the item for return has been received by Sofia’s Collection.

Item(s) which have been altered in any way to the customer’s specifications are non-refundable.
